Why won`t Locus Pro work on a Motorola Xoom Wifi with GPS? What can be done to make it work?

I want to install Locus Pro on my Motorola Xoom. When I went to the Play Store, I couldn`t find it. I then used the web browser to navigate directly to Locus Pro. There was a note saying this program was not compatible with my tablet.

A friend of mine uses an Android tablet (I believe it`s a Nexus 10) with Locus Pro and maps he downloaded and configured for the area, and I would like to do the same with my Xoom, using his maps.

Please let me know if there is a way to get this to work.

Hello Claude,

very interesting and sorry, but I have absolutely no idea. Mainly because I develop Locus on, quite older now, Motorola Xoom Wi-fi 32GB and it works without any problems. I may also see Locus and all it`s add-ons in Google Play.

What I may only suggest is to clear cache of Google Play application and then restart your device. Also you may try to download new (last) version of Google Play if you do not have it

Hi Menion,

thank you for your reply. I left out a crucial bit of information, which is that I live in Haiti. However, I tried installing the software from the USA by using a VPN.

I will try your suggestions and will leave some feed-back after I do. I am happy to know the app was developed on the same tablet I have, so it should work.

Kind Regards,

Claude
