Wrong vector map rendering

myneur shared this problem 8 years ago
Solved

The lake near Page in Utah is rendered wrong. Compare the TopOSM render with the vector maps in attachments.

There is an Island there which probably confuses Vector maps who renders it instead of the lake and does not render the lake at all.

Hi Guys,

thank you for report. Map is fixed. Please remove the old map and download it again.

@gynta - I know it but it's waiting on "new" locus vector maps

I see some areas in different styles on certain vector maps in multiple zoom ranges, like seen in the following screenshot. Not sure, what can be done to solve this...

Menion,

did you already fix the zoom caching issue? I've downloaded an OSM map for ireland just now and have "holes" in certain areas for the zoom levels 9 and 10.

Good day Michael, may you please write me Locus version you use and also post a screenshot with visible coordinates in top panel, so I may test it as well? I'm currently not aware of any problem with rendering of vector maps. Thank you

Hello Michael, thank you for a screenshot. Is same issue happen also with latest 3.18.+ versions of Locus? And mainly, is it happen always on exactly same map tile? I've downloaded latest Ireland LoMap and will all new four Locus themes, all seems to work fine. So quite complicated task to solve :/

Hello Menion,

yes for all of your assumptions: the issue is seen with the latest version and it's exactly the same tile which has problems.

Should I try something for testing purposes like emptying a certain directory containing the cache files or something else?

I'm ready to help - but it could take some days because I don't have internet access day by day while hiking in Ireland...

Cheers,

Michael

Michael, you use LoMaps and internal Locus themes with latest 3.18.4 version of Locus? Because on your screenshot it does not look like mentioned configuration.
