In the current situation for this option, I can only set thisparameter once in the settings related to navigation / guidance; let the bike, for example, it will reach 100 m. But the situation changes dramatically when Iwalk in the mountains, and there the distance of 100 m is not acceptable, 30 to50 m is max!

And with this option available in Quick settings or Dashboard, I quickly set the bike profile 100m, and for mountain trips 40 m, etc.

What about having this setting inside the Preset subsystem too?

The exact question is:

8 Because the Dashboard is created with the idea (in this way I understand)for cycling, mountain climbing and related settings, why are there suchimportant settings as: You are out ofthe route and related route recalculation. In the current situation forthis option, I can only set this parameter once in the settings related tonavigation / guidance; let the bike, for example, it will reach 100 m. But thesituation changes dramatically when I walk in the mountains, and there thedistance of 100 m is not acceptable, 30 to 50 m is max!

Waldemar,

Dashboard is just a static overlay displaying various track stats above the map. What you need and talk about are the Presets - packages of settings that can reconfigure Locus in one single tap for various purposes - cycling, hiking etc. You can set various dahboards for various Presets, ergo activities/purposes. Therefore I edited title of your idea so that also others understand it correctly.

I’m sorry that there is some confusion with this idea. I’m a beginner in http://www.help.locusmap.eu and I probably confused something because I agree with Andrew Heard that this topic should concern PRESETS! This subject absolutely doesn’t suitable for use in Dashboard or Quick Settings because they don’t have such opportunities so I would like to asking Administrator to redirect this topic to PRESETS and if it isn’t possible – then delete it.
