Menion, this is great news, thank you.  I’ve tried it out loading a .gpx file and I’ve worked it out.  One thing I have noticed is that when viewing them on the map, when moving along, they are only visible when the central point is on the screen.  If it is possible to change that, it would be great.

Another potential upgrade that I imagine may be trickier is would it be possible to change the diameter of the circles within a folder so that some of them are different?  The way around it is to create multiple folders for different circle diameters, so no massive deal, but it would be nice to have.  So you’re aware, the .gpx folders that the paragliding community use already have the information of the diameter of the circles in it.  If of interest, an example file is in this link - https://www.xcmap.net/x.php?t=1227&c=NCT+Hike+and+Fly.

Thanks for the upgrade, I know that a few in the paragliding community are trying out adding the circles.  Cheers, Paul

Circle around points

Hi guys,

I would like to inform you that this feature is part of the new My library system we introduced in the new 4.28 Locus Map version. More info about this update in our blog here.

The setup for circles was removed from the "Geocaching tools" menu and is part of every folder in the new library. Simply edit the folder metadata (name, icon etc) and at the bottom is an option to setup the circles. Not just color, but also radius ... and all this persistently per folder.

Hope you will like it.

Feel free to post new ideas or report issues related to the new MyLibrary. If so, please also use "my library" tag, so topics are more organized and easier to find. Thanks
