Hm, place hgt files in Locus/data/srtm.
Use only Locus hgt files (e.g. not from OsmAnd+)
Ah, which version do you have? Since 2.14.0 it is officially supported and has parameters in settings menu. The parameter in config.cfg is gone.

Cool - when I traversed the settings in the new 2.14 I missed that. TXs a lot. Worked immediately.
