Thumbnails for geotagged pictures as icon on map!

Hi everybody,
i grabbed up an idea from Andy:
As we already can choose the icons for our POIs, wouldn`t it be nice to have a thumbnail for our geotagged pictures on the map?
Hope you understand and all like this idea :D

Basically, there are a lot of things you could do with "custom" POI icons...
- geotagged Flickr pics
- personal contacts with adresses from your phonebook
- Latitude Contacts moving on the map
- preview pictures from car/house selling sites
- tweets happening around you
- and so on...
i think, you get the idea :D

no question about size... 48x48.png
storage location should be some "cache", imagine, you delete some pics on your device and still see it in Locus...

it`s independent of the size defined in settings, anyway compare to this settings, it`s close to huge

Brilliant idea. It will give great opportunities for showing KML imported points! But, Menion, no possibility to configure the size? what if somebody has small display and somebody else has tablet display?

"kml imported points"? This is applied only on display of photos with coordinates in EXIF data
and define size ... size is automatically reduced for lower screens, so it will not be same number of pixels on small screen as on a huge screens

no, it just extends already existing function me nu > functions > search > localized photo and instead of simple icon you may see in your version, there will be generated icon from photo

Not sure if it`s possible, but would be nice to have a "Save as Locus POI pic" right after u take a shot, provided this option actuated in the camera settings (if it`s at all real for Locus app get into the Camera app like that))))

All nice, but maybe I missed something, for I would have expected also some funcionality like picking a photo instead of a POI icon or even better assign one of the taken photos in the POI as map icon. Perfect would be, if the POI photo in the maps would have the POI catagory icon somewhere in the right or left corner as an overlay :-P
