Not a Problem

Can you say me if this is a normal battery drain by locus? I have Nexus 7 2012 3G Android 4.4.4

Hello Tomas,

to be true, I don't fully understand your screenshots. Seems that Locus used GPS for 20 hours. But for that time it consumed only 68% of 7% ( 93% remains ), so around 4% of battery?? I do not know any device that consume after 20h of enabled GPS only 4% of battery. It's nonsense, sorry.

I personally do not trust these battery monitors. In many cases, they show really incorrect values, so it's good way to do some own testing. Like measing on watches, how long device keep alive when you use Locus, when don't, or even maybe when you remove Locus.

During developing, I put quite a lot of time to minimize requirements on battery and CPU. And I'm 100% sure, that if Locus do such nonsense, rating will be a lot worst.

On second side, I'm not saying, it's not possible. Anyway to fix such problem, I need more information how to simulate this.

Hi there is another images after 40% of discharge.. I just dont understand why the monitoring shows, thats gps all the time is on, then lociation service is turned off on android and locus also is turned off..But if you say that monitoring can show wrong information, so there can be answer to my question.

quite interesting. I believe you device should keep GPS on for about, let's say 10 hours, till battery is completely empty? Without charging 1d 2h in case of Locus is just in dreams :)

May you please check system > apps > running if you see Locus there also?

And also please try some battery monitor from Google Play like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm (I've good experience with this one) or any other, to have more then one result.
