New waypoint should be displayed

When I'm adding new waypoint it's more than clear that I want to see this point on map. Please add this functionality back!

My scenario:
1. open geocache
2. add waypoint
3. close geocache
result: new waypoint is not displayed on map (current behaviour in v3.x)
expected: new waypoint is displayed on map (I suppose that it was "original" behaviour")
I didn't change no configuration between upgrade so I don't know if there is any new configuration option or where I should search for it
