Add tab "Images" for Offline Caches exported by GSAK

I often use Locus for Geocaching without Internetconnection turned on. Therefor I export my GSAK-database into a GPX-file and import it into a Locus Points folder. Works perfect, I've got all the info we need to find caches.

But there's one thing which could be improved:

Sometimes I want to know if the Cache has a Spoilerphoto which could help me. Each time I've to go online, open Cache page or start "GC Offlinizer". Often find out that there are no Spoiler images provided at all and I went online for nothing.

So my idea: If the Cache has got any images provided by the Owner, please already add the "Images" tab with the Names+Description of the Images (names, descriptions and also the URLs of the images are in the imported GPX-file created by GSAK) . So people can already see OFFLINE if there are any images and it makes sense to go online and load the images to view.

Yes, i know that we could download all images before going caching for some caches using GC offlinizer. But thats not practicable for the whole database of several thousand caches of a region ;-)

Good day sonny,

I'm not familiar with GSAK export format, so please export for me a single cache that has such data in GPX file and share it here. I'll look at this if there is any simple solution. Thanks

https://coord.info/GC5ZGFN, This is a Cache which contains each possible info a cache could have ;-)

Corrected Coords (just for test), User Note, Waypoints including description, Images within listing, below listing, in logs, Favorites, Attributes, Hin, Premium Member Info

Hello,

thank for a file. In the end, I've added direct support for parsing images as was your initial suggestion. In next version will be visible new tab "Images" with loaded images from this GPX file.

Working good, thank you Menion!

I also noticed that GC.com-User Notes are displayed in Basic Info tab after import of GSAK's GPX file. :-)

Maybe you could add the following 2 infos too. Not the most important ones, but if we can import and display them for free, why not ;-)

- "Basic Info" tab: if cache is Premium Member Only cache

- "Logs" tab: "unloaded image" symbol on the bottom of User logs (if there are log images) including Name+Description of images. (reason is the same as with cache images: for example if some logimage is named "actual spoiler", "be aware of the following danger", etc. then out in the field I know at first sight that there would be some important infos in logphotos and it's a good idea to go online to load the images.

Note: there's already an "unloaded image" symbol for logimages: If i'm using GC4L addon and choose "actualize Cache" and then go offline again before opening the Logs-tab.

Perfect, glad to hear.

Based on your file, I've also added support for "gsak:IsPremium", "gsak:FavPoints" and mentioned "gsak:GcNote", so "Premium" mark should already work in latest Beta version.

Images for logs ... to be true, I was little lazy to do it when I saw such option. But agree it may be useful, so if I'm working on it ... done.

Thanks Menion.

For the Premium-info: Do you mean the "crown-symbol" on a cache's icon on the map? That works. But it would be cool if we could read this info (or just add a crown-symbol on the cacheicon or eg. next to the Cache code) within basic info-tab too.

Hello sonny,

yes, I mean this crown symbol. Agree it should be visible also in detail of point, so at least, icon in row below map, will match icon on the map, so also this crown symbol will be visible. Thanks.
