Allow tap on point icon to return immediately with repositioned map

From a tracks list it is possible to tap the track map icon & return immediately with map repositioned to show the track.

However from a points list, tapping the point icon has different behavior

Tapping on the point icon or name both then display the point details (same as tapping middle part of item from track list) and then the map/flag icon must be tapped:

Please consider this quicker method of repositioning the map from a points list.

"Good" is a starting point :-) Andrew's idea is more consistent and easier for the user. Hence "better".

Hello guys,

interesting idea. Agree that consistency is important and display of simple point may be a little faster with this.

Problem I see is that currently icon is quite thin. Area needed to draw icon is a lot smaller then are for common buttons. Keeping it so thin should result in problematic taps. So I've increased it's width little bit from original 40px to new 52px.

Logical side-effect will be a little less space for text and symbols on right side. Not a big issue on bigger screens, but I'll little worried on smaller devices with 640x480 or 800x600 px screens. If you have such, please let me know later, thanks.

3.21.1.18: for me at least great improvement - now very efficient to move map to point in list. The change in icon size is hardly noticeable. All text still OK on my small phone display.

Menion - can this new feature be extended to the Nearest Points list too please?

Glad it works and mainly that line with info is still usable (name, ...).

And in list of nearest points ... I firstly wanted to deny it, but .. why not, so let's give it a try.
