Bottom panel replaced with geocache text
Solved
From time to time, the bottom panel (buttons) is replaced with the text (listing) of the geocache and I need to exit the cache details screen and open it again to get the buttons back. See the attached screenshot to have a better picture of what I am saying. I believe I am almost always able to simulate it, so it should not be problem for you either - open any geocache, open listing of that cache and just scroll-down really fast (maybe also slow does the trick) and then, just switch to any another tab - log/waypoints... and the bottom buttons will disappear and will be replaced by the text from the listing. If you need any further information, just let me know. Thanks.

Hello,
thank you for a bug report. I'm anyway worried that this will be unsolvable problem. Does it happen often? Didn't you notice any other problems in Locus Map like this?
Listing screen use system component called "WebView", so please also check if you have latest version of this tool downloaded from Google Play : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.webview .

I tested it now in more detail. Unfortunately, it happens all the time and it is really annoying. I can avoid it only when I am ignoring cache listing completely. Only then it does not happen. But when I open listing (must be longer, having scroll bar) and I go through the listing normally, then the buttons always disappear when I switch to another tab :(... Every time I need to leave the cache details page and come back again... So, I must just always skip listings, otherwise I loose buttons :(... No, I have not noticed any other problem like this in Locus. (I have one more issue with Locus, but I did not report it yet and I do not think they are related ->I have security pattern setup and Locus is not able to override it and it causes problems when using Locus, therefore, I completely disabled this "override" option in Locus and every time I need to unlock my security pattern - it is better this way, because Locus is not able to handle it correctly)
I do not have this WebView component installed at all, but from what I know, the latest WebView contains the chrome core, so if I have Google Chrome installed (what I have), I believe I have the latest WebView, right?

Hmm understand. There is only one possible method I may try here. Disabling so called "hardware acceleration".
What Android is installed on your device? And if installed WebView make a difference ... to be honest, I do not know and as I search, there seems not be any clear answer. You may try it. Yes, Chrome use it as well, but if other apps are able to reuse core of Chrome or needs a WebView directly installed in device ... really do not know.

By the way, this behavior started maybe only like 3 versions back, so I do not have this problem since the beginning...
Where do you mean to disable the hardware acceleration?
I have Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9195), Android - official version 4.4.2. I am not able to install WebView anyway (google play says it is not compatible with my device).

Hello,
you cannot set hardware acceleration on/off on your own, it needs to be done in application.
It is automatically set "on" till Android 4.4 as it greatly improve web view performance.
Ok, I've changed minimum Android version to 5.0 (first version where seems to be natively used WebView application itself), so we will see in next version. Let me know if it helped.

Great, you did it! :)... I installed the newest version of Locus and now I am not able to reproduce the issue anymore, so I would consider this issue as solved. Thanks a lot ;)...
