Field Notes add-on crashes on starting

for me it work: FN V 1.4.6 with Locus V 3.21 and V3.22 free and pro

please give us infos about your device, android version a.s.o.

so additional question:

do you start FN standalone outside of locus, or inside locus with button on side bar?

Same for me.. inside locus or standalone. Tried uninstall and reinstall of addon. When updating it removed icon from folder on homescreen, icon totally gone. Uninstalled--->reinstalled.. icon restored.

Luckily locus internal fieldnote manager still got my offline logs :-)

Launching FieldNotes inside Locus via "Weitere Funktionen --> Feldnotizen" wants to open the Google Play Store!?!?

Launching FieldNotes outside Locus seems to work on the S4 but crashes on the S3 Neo with message "Locus - Addon Fieldnotes angehalten".

a litte more info.

FieldNotes V 1.4.6 crashes on Samsung Galaxy S4 too if you use "Menü --> Über".

The old version of the AddOn worked on both devices last weekend without any problems.

Locus Map Pro 3.22.0

Fieldnotes Pro 1.4.6

when I start the add-on inside from Locus play.google.com is opening for install Locus Addon Fieldnotes!?

when I start the add-on standalone outside from Locos there are 2 different behaviour:

1. I have logged one or more geocaches in Locus: then the Field Note add-on crashes by starting

2. I have no logged geocaches in Locus: then the Field Note add-on starts with the message "no data available",

but when I choose "About" in the menu the app is crashing...

Hello guys,

thanks for additional information.

Issue with starting add-on directly from Locus Map menu will be fixed in next version. Issue was caused by changed of unique name of main screen in add-on ... fixed.

Anyway problems with crashes are most probably in add-on itself, so it's on @Jarda to request log if needed and solve it.

Crashes is result of the update building tools :( Google depracted other function. I will fix today.

Yes, I can confirm after updating to version 1.4.6.1 the problem gone. Standalone works fine. Thank you.

Yes, I can confirm. After updating Locus Map Pro to version 3.22.1 the problem with add-on crashes gone. Fields Notes starts from inside Locus Map O.K. Thank you.

I have probem with crash0ing addon field notes in xperia active. When I go to the settings. Application fall down.

Aj ja mám tento problém. Po stlačení Settings -> View options aplikácia FieldNotes prestane pracovať. Lenže to nie je problém Locus Map, ale toho addonu, pretože ak sa spustí samostatne urobí to tú istú chybu!

Lenže toto vlákno je už označené ako "solved". Riešil sa tu iný problém a to, že aplikácia nenaštartovala vôbec ak sa spustila z Locus Map. To už funguje. Treba založiť nové vlákno. Slovenčina je akceptovaná. Ak ho založíš, daj vedieť cez PM, pridám sa.
