Find tracks near map center?

Hi,

you can sort your tracks based on distance to the start/end point of the tracks, but this is based on your current position. Is there a way to do the same with an arbitrary position, so that I can say, "show me my nearest tracks to this mountain" for example?

Good day Rainer,

such feature is not possible in Locus now. I think that closest possible idea is this http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/search_for_in_tracks_and_pois_which_are_within_this_screen , so I suggest to vote ... and hope :).

weird... actually it is possible and sort by distance DOES search near the map center and NOT the current position. I have no idea what I've done differently yesterday, but now it's working the way I wanted it to be

I though you want to find an nearest track (not nearest start points or nearest end points) to current map center.

Anyway all sortings by distance in points or tracks lists are based on current map center! Only exception is in case, you have set parameter "gui_data_point_list_sort_by_gps" in config.cfg file to "1" and you have enabled GPS in Locus.
