Hallo, bisher funktionierte die Trackaufzeichnung gut. Mit dem neuen Update stoppte gestern mein GPS plötzlich. Und genauso plötzlich ging es wohl wieder an. Von ca. 6km wurden nur 2km aufgezeichnet. ( Blauer Himmel - wenige Wolken )
Gibt es dazu ein Log Verzeichnis, wo man Fehler lokalisieren kann ?
Außerdem habe ich von Anfang an mit der Speicherverwaltung probleme. Locus sagt mir, dass es die SD Karte benutzt. Das stimmt nicht, denn wenn ich mir die Dateien anschaue befinden sie sich auf dem Gerät.
Daraus resultieren viele Probleme. Die Offlinekarte 5,6GB lässt sich nicht verschieben ( >4GB ). Sie ist zu gross für den Gerätespeicher. Weder in Windows, noch in Linux sehe ich diese Karte. Aber Locus sagt mir, dass die Karte schon auf der SD Karte ist. Das stimmt nicht.
Locus lässt sich auch nicht komplett auf die SD Karte verschieben ( Das scheint aber ein Android Problem zu sein ? )

in case of failing GPS location - it can be caused by the battery optimization of your device (see the article recommended by c.s.g.) but also because of insufficient location permission for Google Play Services. As for the SDcard - Android system, beginning by 5.0, names your internal memory as "sdcard" and you external memory by a code name like e.g. "1234-5678". The rest of information about Locus data on external card can be found in the article c.s.g. has recommended.

Natürlich habe ich mich erst hier gemeldet, nachdem ich mir alle Hilfeseiten angeschaut habe.
Aber es läuft einfach nicht richtig. Schaut Euch bitte mal das Foto genau an.
Das macht leider alles keinen Sinn. Ich war bereits ca. 4km unterwegs.
Beachte : Vor dem Update lief Alles EINWANDFREI - Nach dem Update leider nicht mehr.

since the last version Locus Map uses new Google location system "Fused location provider", combining data from all phone sensors in a batter efficient manner. Obviously, this system doesn't work properly on all devices. Turn your Locus back to the original method - go to settings > GPS&location > Compatibility mode > ON.

Hello Michal, I have here nearly the same problem.
After update, I dont know if it was the Locus update or the Rom update to 8.1
While navigating GPS switches of (looses satellites) when screen is of. (By the way: Google Maps works and keeps the satellites)
I´m on Android 8.1 (Lineageos 15.1).
I set all the settings from the link except i disabled "GPS Auto-Aus". (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:settings:gps)
In the phone settings I set under "Akkunutzung verwalten "Hintergrundaktiviät" to "on" and "Akku-Optimierung" to "nicht optimiert"
I tried also this (didn't help)
Locus settings > GPS&location > Compatibility mode > ON.

there are several possible causes of this problem:
1) battery optimization - each device has its own system, we try to tackle as many of them as possible here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:gps_lost_fix_android6
2) Google Play Services don't have permission to location data - check this and enable all necessary permissions

I don't know, deinstalled locus and installed it new, no change...
Google maps works, here works, sports tracker works...
