GPS turns off when screen is off

Hello,
With Locus Pro 3.15.3 on Android 6 in a HTC ONE M8, Locus is turning off the GPS one minute after the screen turns off. Therefor, I cannot save my tracks anymore. Note that the option Settings > GPS and Location > Track recording (Keep GPS on when track recording is paused or screen off) is ENABLED.
That was not happening on Locus Pro 3.14 with Android 5
Any solution to that problem?

may I understand it, that you start track recording in Locus, you then see a movement of your position on a map and also line that is created by track recording and when you then minimize Locus or turn off the screen (should be same), GPS in Locus is turned off and no location is recorded?
Hmm if above is correct, may you please this:
- open settings of your device > "Battery"
- in top menu is "Battery optimisation"
- choose "All apps" in top selector, find Locus Map and select "Don't optimise".

The problem GPS is caused by power Saver mode! (No battery optimization).
Off-saving mode and everything will be OK ;-)

Using BOTH (AT THE SAME TIME) of your advices ANDROID 6.0 does not turn off the GPS anymore, that is
- open settings of your device > "Battery"
- in top menu is "Battery optimisation"
- choose "All apps" in top selector, find Locus Map and select "Don't optimise".
and turn off the Power Saver mode (both things).

My Honor 5X is stopping tracking after some minutes when the screen turns off. It's running Android 6 and I switched off all general and app individual power savings. I still get the battery saving warning at Locus map pro start - even as I switched off all savings.
