Gpsies upload does not work

Hi, since the last versions the upload to Gpsies is not working anymore. The error message tells something about user /password combination error. Nevertheless the login is working.

Any hint?

Hi Bernd,

at first we managed to simulate the issue but after some time the issue corrected itself - most probably the problem was at GPSies side. Test it yourself please.

Hi Bernd, could you please try to change your GPSies password temporarily and test the export with it? The alert box is coming from GPSies server and if it comes only to someone, not to everybody, it means something fishy must be on GPSies side.

Hi Michal,

I have changed my password in Gpsies, the login from Locus is successful. Export a gpx track gives the message: ERROR Locus (The combination of user name and password is not valid. Please enter a track key. It is important, if you want to make changes to the trip. As registered user this entry is not required).

Hi Bernd,


there's one remaining test we can try before contacting GPSies administrator - your own account. Would you mind sharing your GPSies login temporarily? I'll try to log to your account and if I simulate the issue, I'll hand the problem over to GPSies. Of course after the test you would change your password. If you agree, send me the login to my email michal.stupka@asamm.com.
