Disable notification-Center/Button?

Yes, good, main thing is, I consider, that these adds are gone, see attached file. Double annoying to must tap things if they are just adds.

Well franc, it's just playing with words. From my point of view, this has nothing to do with ads. We are just trying to bring interesting content to users and if there are not ideas on some "how to" post, we share interesting travel inspirations form other users. What you see is just notification on new post on our main web here: http://www.locusmap.eu/news/ . It just once (max twice) per week, two taps to remove it.

Anyway as I wrote before, in next version it will be possible to hide "info button" on map screen, when only these "ads" will be inside notification center.

EDIT: @Till Reymann: ticket in your link is on the same page. Difference is that "tickets" are private so it's only communication between someone from Asamm team and You. "Posts" are public, like this. Usually some special problems are better to solve privately, some common errors and problem with public post, because more people may involve. Thanks for understanding

simple thoughts though

- does the user need this information

- does the user need this information while in a certain action, does it help or may even disturb (even furthermore provoke unwanted situations should be less the case or of less propability, but should be considered)

- does the user need a classified information while in a certain action

- other settings or respected environments.. (mobile, wlan, granulitic classification/settings by user, ..)

No symbol on the card please - ensure there is the sidebar. Where are the

setting buttons and the Facebook link. Where the locus store is already

linked. There you can see also.

I'm sure it works. Just remove existing already loaded blog posts from Notification center. This should help.

How do I disable these notifications? I do not see option in menu>settings>misc. Also, the latest notification (a survey) seems to be stuck on my screen. I took the survey but cannot get rid of the notice. Please advise. Thanks!

survey is not affected by this setting !

balloni55, thanks again for your reply. I am not trying to take the survey however as I've already taken it. I am trying to remove the notification symbol that's on the upper left of my screen. Can't get it to go away.

the message should be somewhere a trash can be. To delete the messages. Then everything goes away.

There is no trash can and no way to move the notice symbol. Any suggestions?

After clearing all messages, it is instantly gone. The Sceenshot we had from the open used. There must be a trash can at the bottom right. Or delete messages by wiping to the right.

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. The message is gone now although I'm not sure how or why. Swiping did not work to remove the message or the icon and I had no trash can like other notifications had. Maybe one of my swipes had a delayed reaction. Anyway, it's gone now, thank heavens.

it is currently not possible. We added an option to disable the display of news from our blog, but other messages like auto-backup or download content from Locus Store and some others, may not be automatically removed (excluded) from the notification center.

You could disable auto backup as I did. You don't change your settings that often, do you? You take a backup manually after important changes and that's it.Hope that helps

Yes, I noticed this as well. Don't like it neither.

But i do autobackup and upload to Cloud only once a week, so it is not that severe annoying :)

To disable at all is not a good idea. Any added point or track will then be lost, when it is not backuped.

It is about upload to cloud. It is not just inform, that this task was done, but it also offers "re-try" button in case of any problem (missing/problematic internet etc.).

P.S.

My reason for removing (permanent) notification is a conflict with the reminder reminder feature.

The night after the backup, the cell notices the reminder every 15 minutes.

Notification management can not be used. There is only a Locus app. So it would off everything.
