How can i export/share a geocache with added attachement ?
Answered
example:
i add a spoilerpic e.g. from geochecker as attachement to gc-listing inside locus, next i want to share it to a friend or another device.
- if i export/share this geocache as kmz, all gc-tabs are lost and gc-options (wpts, log visit) are not available
- if i export it as gpx , attachement is missing.
is there any solution?
Wolfgang
Good day balloni,
still quite complicated task. Only solution here is to use GPX. In KML, geocaching data are not supported.
So when you export your GPX file, attachments should be placed to export directory next to GPX files, this does not happen? When you then place this pack (GPX + attachments) to second device and import, it should work.

Hello menion
>So when you export your GPX file, attachments should be placed to export directory next to GPX files, this does not happen?<
no, not with a geocache
exporting a "normal POI" attachements are exported to a folder beside gpx file as you described.

Good evening,
hmm .. quite old code. "Fixed", in next version this should work as well. Anyway I still do not see it as perfect. Missing some option like "Pack to zip" ... wasn't this there before? :). Have to think about it tomorrow ...
