How can I using Kompass Premium Maps in Locus...

Hi,

I have a Kompass Premium Account, this account allows to download maps with the Kompass App. Unfortunately this App is terrible for outdoor navigation. So I like to use the Locus App also for the Kompass maps.

The Kompass maps are also available in the Locus Store but here is the price terrible and I have already paid for the maps.

Is it possible to use the Kompass Premium Account also with Locus ?

Hello Daniel,

I'm sorry but this is not possible. There is more reasons - terms of use and probably also technical complication. KOMPASS maps in Locus are tied with Locus store and your profile in Locus store. You can use only KOMPASS maps purchased via Locus store.

When it comes to prices: We're in testing mode and there is possibility that price will change after this testing phase but I can not give you any promise.

it would be good to have also a flatrate with an accurate price like Bergfex in the locus store for the KOMPASS maps. At the moment the prices are to much compared with the offers from KOMPASS directly.

I can only suggest to use item in Locus store called "KOMPASS Custom selection" you can define custom area for downloading so you can pay exactly for the area you're interested in.

Kompass map prices result from the price-setting policy of Kompass publishing house. The price in Locus is the best price we can have at the moment. On the other hand the price may chanfr. We are still in "testing mode" and it depends on the download rate if we drop to a cheaper price level in Kompass system.
