How to change order of navigation apps

Hi,

when I look at the basic info of a waypoint there is the share-button. When I press the share button I see "navigation apps / three installed navigation apps / more"

I'd like to change/replace the three navigation apps with other ones.

The reason is that I usually use Google Maps when I go to the share button but this is listed under 'more'. The other installed navigation apps are only for backup purposes.

Good day Wolle,

no modifications or custom improvements are possible in this menu. I consider that all programs that are visible in this list are wanted by user, so they should be visible = no modifications should be needed.

Yes you're right all these ware wanted apps. But not the one I usually use and this one I always use is not visible only after I click on 'more'.

Ah, finally understand.

When you press share > navigation apps > and more, you may notice that you see different dialog then Locus - made. It is because in :

- share > navigation apps ... contains all application, that are exactly coded in Locus Map and that support direct start of navigation over known mechanism

- share > navigation apps > more ... contains all application, that are able to react on known "geo intent". Under this "more" menu is something completely out of control of Locus Map, so there may be whatever, maybe also some nonsences.

So creating mechanism that take apps from this "more" menu and put them one level up should be little complicated and from my point of view, it simply doesn't worth it.

Maybe you may use one shortcut here ... place "Share" button to functions panel on main screen, then center map cursor on required place, tap this "Share" button > Text message > and at bottom "Shortcuts > Google Maps". This should have very similar effect and it's little bit faster then going through point > share ...

Hi Menion,

that's a great idea with placing the share button to the functions panel. I did it :D

But it does not work as thought. When I press "share" and then "text message" and choose there the "quick sharing named google maps" I get an additional menu which lists me apps like "Bluetooth, Mail, Google Drive,....." and no Maps. Thought Maps would start automatically and shows me the route which one I now can start after I had a look at the route.

Hello Wolfgang,

ah sorry, my bad! I was almost sure it works in similar way, but it didn't. So currently in Locus Map is not better method then over point.

Anyway I believe more people find it more useful (you are not the first who ask on this), so in next version will be one more button right below "Text message" (in "Share" menu) that will work as expected here, so even faster then over "Text message". Thanks
