I have an idea of creating Head-Up Display dashboard for car navigation.
Unfortunately dashboard editor lacks (as far as I know) for the most important controls:
-arrow showing the next maneuver
-distance to the next maneuver
Both are available on standard navigation screen. Maybe you could add them to dashborad editor.
I like this idea
