Hi!

Thank You for adding lap times in Locus, every update better app :-) .

I think it would be great to add manual lap times, for example feature found in Sports Tracker. Best option would be new button in recording side panel or recording bottom panel.

Hi,

glad you like it ;)

Anyway, please improve your idea, because at least, I have no idea what to imagine under "manual lap times". Thanks

In tracks laps tab there can be shown statistics for 1, 2, 5, 10 km or custom distance. I would like to press button during track recording that automatically adds one lap to laps tab with current cumulative track time and distance and distance and time from start or from last lap. So everything is same in laps tab except that lap distance is not fixed. This could be useful for counting time from one to another checkpoint. For example:

Lap Distance Time

1 1.3 km 00:12:23

2 0.5 km 00:08:34

Currently it is possible to add new point during track recording (button next to stop and pause buttons) - here can be added new option - new lap.

I wish the beginning time can be switched between 0 and starting record o'clock time. If setting is "0" ,it means "expensed times" to where I was , if setting is starting record o'clock time , it means "when" where I was.

In other posts there is much discussion about automation. Any automation should provide

PROPOSALS for lap boundaries, because there is never a perfect automation.

It must be possible to re-arrange a proposed lap-boundary manually, the topic of this post. Incl. adding or deleting a lap boundary.

Uphill/downhill,

speed ranges and alike should be selectable (any subset, incl. all of

them) for automation. Then hand over to the human brain and fingers :-)

I thing something like this manual lap is most useful proposal for take power data from interval of interest especially in hilly terain. I hope it would be not so complicated to add extra lap button besides start, stop, pause buttons an then see intervals between consecutive lap tapping in workout interval tab.

Now it is possible only in complicated manner of stopping, saving and consecutive recording, stopping saving...etc. But after merge to one workout, interval data are lost.

After testing about 20 sport tracking aplications-what is useful or not, I thing it would be very practical for workout evaluation to have this feature of manual lap in some "post manual" version in some manner like this: in workout review, eg. in elevation graph by click or double click get interactive markers, then moving it to start and end point of interest at time or distance axis select interval of interest to view power data of selected interval (time, distance, average speed/tempo and elevation gain). Do you think is it possible to make somethinh like this to Locus?

Or maybe extra paid add on for workout evaluation and statistics? - with another features like calendar and week, months and years displaying of activities an so.

I vote for manual lap times :) I would like to have a possibility to set a button called i.e. "Lap" in any place on my Locus screen/panel (like the other stats where i have speed, distance, etc). Thx :)

I am also voting for this idea, this feature could be great sport addition to Locus.

I would also really wish for a 'lap' button (like sportwatches have) and beeing able to export these included in TCX export. There have been improvements to the TCX export lately, so maybe it's a good time to add that? :-)
