Map rotation to sensitive

Hey locus team,

One of the features of locus that I love is the rotating map option. Its extremely helpfull for those of us who don`t automatically mentally turn the map so that they don` have to think extra on what is left or right. The only thing that I think could improve about this option is the speed in which it rotates. Its so sensitive that if I hold my phone in my hand the map is constantly shaking. I think it would be nice if it would turn with a delay so that small twitches are not registered but only real changes of direction.

Just an idea...

Thank you so much for this fantastic application!

Cheers,

Hendri

Hello Hendri,

I suggest to check this settings http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... - item "Orientation filter". Let me know, but I think it`s exactly what you need

Thank you so much Menion,

I searched trough the settings but obviously not well enough...

The strong filter option is exactly what I wanted and thus proves, ones again, the greatness of your product.

Cheers

He Hendri, since Menion some time ago told me that map rotation is quite processor and battery intensive, I use instead the "Heading line" . Try it out and find it under Settings/Map objects and style/ Heading line ("Show line from current location over whole screen that display direction that you are pointing). Works probably best if your phone has a magnetic compass.
