Navigation route style
Hello, if I choose to navigate along existing (saved) track having it's own linestyle, the track style is temporarily overridden by style defined in Options/Navigation/Style on map (orange). If I'm right saved track is during navigation replaced by temporary copy used for navigation and using the simplified style.
After I tap on navigation icon/Route info/Style on map bar, I'm seeing different colour than defined in navigation preferences (light-green). From where is the style inherited? Going further if I click on the style bar and define own style and confirm, I get toast Navigation route was saved. Warning: track is not saved in database. I assume the new style should be applied to the temporary navigation track, but it isn't - active route is still displayed using solid colour and width set in navigation preferences (ie. the style shown in info dialogue looks inherited from nowhere and also used nowhere).
In my opinion the route default linestyle should be always inherited from style set in navi preferences and after changing the style it should be applied to active route (well I'd like if the navigation route style default in prefs could be set using extended style selector (linetypes/colouring modes, outline etc.)
Good day Bucky Kid,
"If I'm right saved track is during navigation replaced by temporary copy used for navigation and using the simplified style" - exactly
I see here main problem, that Locus display and allow to edit this style for this temporary navigation track, so in next version, this option will be hidden to not confuse you (users) anymore.
Thanks for useful question ;).
