Navigation with TomTom Go not working
Not a Problem
Whenever I try to navigate to a point by calling TomTom Go as an external nav app from Locus, Go says it cannot find the location - calling Go from c:geo works so I assume the problem isn't really in Go's side...
Locus Pro newest version, Android 5.1.1
Good day Arminus,
I'm testing it and is seems to work partially.
In context menu of point, there are two options how to start TomTom GO application.
One is in bottom menu "external" (second from right) > Map Apps > Navigation apps. This is probably what you use and this really do not work. Anyway it seems to be a problem of TomTom itself.
Second option is in same menu, just tap at bottom on "More" > and here choose "TomTom".
This option is most general option how to use any external navigation (and this is also what c:geo do) and it should work on hopefully all applications. So please try this.
Thanks for understanding.

Ok, thanks, that works.
But why does it actually appear twice in the menus? That's a bit confusing I think (also given, that the working one is nested one level deeper?)

Content of both menus ("navigation" and also "more map apps") is generated automatically based on what you have installed in your device. Every application itself, decide for what actions will be registered in system. TomTom Go seems to be registered for common request on navigation, but is not able to handle it. It is also registered for request to "display something on a map" and for this, it works correctly.
