Not all Map tools are visible in the Functions meny

Hi,

I have a problem that not all map tools are visible in the Functions meny (see attached image - edit mode for the functions meny), for example "Map themes" should be there right? The only way for me to access Map themes is to add it as a shortcut in the map panel/quick buttons.

Hi Christian,

Map themes are not a tool - they are rather connected with content of map and therefore they are present in the left "map content" panel by default. Of course, you can add them as a button to the top or right function panels.

Ok, but what if I don't want the left panel to be visible, is there another way to access the theme settings through the meny?

Hi Christian,

open menu there are 6 buttons available, do a long click on one of these option button you didn´t need (e.g. share)

scroll dow to "MAP TOOLS" and select Map themes

Why is Map themes not a "map tool" under the "more functions", but when adding it to the 6 quick buttons it is clearly listed under "map tool". To me this seems like a bug, should not all tools/funtions be accessible under the "more functions" meny?

I had a left panel switched off all together and couldn't find some functions listed in the manual at first.

Accessing ALL the functions and tools through Main menu (as seen while adding the button to function panels) and knowing they are all there would be really useful. İf this is too much for someone, there is still a very intuitive hiding feature.

I agree, all functions and tools should be accessible under the "more functions"-meny!
