Notification "Position lost" doesn't work

Solved

Good day

Description of this functionality in the manual: "Notifies user of the GPS having lost location of the device"

I used it as reminder that Locus was not closed after trip for preventing discharging battery by GPS module (no GPS signal inside building)

But in the new version Locus doesn't notify when GPS having lost location

Good day Dmitry,

this notification should play exactly one minute after still running GPS in Locus, lost it's precise position.

Is this situation that happens to you? Is Locus in situation, that it still needs GPS (for example because of track recording) and it does not notify even that GPS position is for sure lost?

Hello Menion,

yes, no nonfication when GPS position lost. I think it's because Locus use GSM for positioning now. And this problem is linked with this one- http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/the-setting-gps-run-at-startup-always-doesnt-work

May be the Locus should use GSM/WiFi only as additional instruments to get location (if it allows to be more accurate), but GPS signal - is the main source of it and should be treated as in previous versions (auto-start on Locus launch, control colour of GPS status label, raise notification in case of GPS signal lost)?

Good day,

thanks for additional information. I've invested some more time into this problem and rewrote part related to these notifications with new GPS system used in Locus Map. I'll publish this improvement in next Beta version for more intensive testing and I believe, in next final version, this issue will be fixed. Thanks for now.
