Personal sqlitedb maps are merged after I moved to MyLocusExternMap on SD card

Solved

Hi!

First: I followed the instructions for moving map files to external SD card successfully as described here as solution "C.". I did it for the vector maps (Locus/MapsVector) and for the personal sqlitedb maps which I downloaded for offline use. I wondered that after that change all sqlitedb maps appears merged by country since these are located at MyLocusExternMap/Maps on external SC card. When I put them back into the Locus/Maps directory on the internal storage the maps are listed individually (which I would prefer...). What's the reason for this difference and is there any way to show the personal sqlitedb files listed individually when loaded from external SD card? Find attached a screenshot of the merged view for sqlitedb maps for "Croatia" and "Germany". Thanks!

Good day Jens,

same merging system is also applied on maps in default directories, but only when they are in one subfolder! Same should work on SD card.

Based on your screenshot, it looks like you have folder MyLocusExternMap and in this folder your have two subfolders - Croatia and Germany which both has maps right? And you choose main folder MyLocusExternMap right? If so, try to add directly two subfolders to Locus and not the parent folder. Then it should work as expected.

Not sure if this information is in our manual, if not, it may be added.

Let me know if this helps.

Good day Menion,

You're absolutely right with your assumption: I added the "whole" MyLocusExternMap folder first which contains the subfolders including Germany and Croatia. Adding each subfolder separately is the solution to get the individual personal maps listed in the Locus Map view for the specific countries in this example.

Thank you very much for your help! Cheers,
