Good day Bettina,

please rename your file to "txt" or compress it to "zip", then it will be possible to attach it. It's not perfect system here, fortunately this workaround works fine. Thank you.

Ahoj Gynto,

I downloaded the file from 'bergfex.de' on my (Windows) PC and send the file as email attach to my android mobile phone.

On my mobile phone I opened the attached file with locus pro and got the described error message.

Good day Bettina,

as gynta suggested - I believe this will work fine for you.

This problem happen from time to time with some email clients. To let application access email attachments directly, is needed special permission "read attachment". I decided quite a long time, that for such rare situation, like import directly from email, I won't added this option into Locus.

Fortunately, most of email clients offer option that Locus already use and this import works fine. What email client are you using on your device? Looks like your email client do not support this option and require mentioned permission.

In this case, use please an alternative - download attachment into your device first, then import into Locus.

Thank you for understanding and sorry for a complications.

Hello Menion,

the problem was the download. The file is downloaded on my mobile phone, but the file size is very small. Now, I imported the file via google drive and it works!

Thanks

Bettina
