For me, it works... At least in version 2.5.6, it`s possible. Don`t know if this is a new functionality...

Search Locus POI db for a gc code:

Search button => search offline in the POIs => by name => enter GC code

Import a cache by GC code:

Open http://coord.info/gccode => choose "Import to Locus"

Needs geocaching4locus and doesn`t seem to work with firefox, only with the original browser.

ah yes, search in offline database by this way works. I also as Hana thought that we talk about online. But your solution is nice and working. Thanks for interesting info also for me :)

Unfortunately the way ... Search button => search offline in the POIs => by name => enter GC code ... doesn't work in version 3.3.1. It worked for example in version 3.2.3. I used it very frequently and now I don't know any alternative way.

Hello Geraod,

thank you for your report. You're absolutely correct, this function do not work correctly in 3.3.1 version. Sorry for that. Issue found and fixed. In 3.4.0 this will be working again.

Hello,

I think something was changed recently in search offline POI by name. I entered a GC code and Locus returned a result window (see screen capture). That's ok but I can't go directly to POI by tapping on result. Instead of the check box is checked/unchecked. That's no sense in search option. I do not need (un)visible POI's in search result window . I need to go to POI description.

Locus 3.6.0.
