Dear Didi,

thank you for question, unfortunately SIGMA Topo maps isn't available in Locus. However there is an alternative you can use for example MTB Europe map (Locus > Menu > Online > OSM - Outdoors > MTB Europe) that also show MTB Scale.

You can check the map http://mtbmap.cz#zoom=15&lat=47.2827&lon=10.409

Thank you for understanding

Hi Petr,

I found the simular map like the SIGAM; it ist the 4Ueuropa map.

The 4U is in the Locus onlinelist, but the resolution of ppict gone only up to "15".

I can buy a higher resolution, but how can I load the map offline on the SDcard ( Andoid 6.01)?

Hello Didi,

You've already pointed out that there are similar map as SIGMA map in Locus app. For this reason we do not plan to add this map. More over it seems that SIGMA map is created based on OSM data. I guess that SIGMA map contains the same data as MTB Europe, 4Umaps or default LoMaps maps.

However to your questions. Unfortunately max zoom level for 4Umaps is really only 15.

How to download online map is described in http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_download

You can move downloaded map file from /Locus/maps to the SDcard and then manually add map as "External map" back to the Locus - please see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_external

Thank you for understanding

Hi Petr,

thanks for your detailed answer.

Zommlevel: I've seen that the level goes only up to 15. With payment you can have a higher level (17).

Extrenal SDcard: I've long searched to find the " ext. SDcard" at the Android 6 file/ordner system.

Many people doesnt know that the ext. SD is in a ordner called " storage "! ( not "sdcard".... ;-( )

It would be a great help if you could take this info into the manual, the screanshot with the path I have long time overlocked.

Thanks fo all!

Hello Didi,

payment for > 15 - I'll discuss it with team members. Honestly I have doubts about it because there are alternatives for 4Umaps. For example LoMaps with custom theme. It also depends on 4Umaps attitudes because we would need customized system for premium maps in Locus.

Ext SDcard - we know that current sollution isn't ideal. We've prepared improved internal "File manager" that should help to "localize" sdcard. It'll be available in next Locus version.

Thank you

Dear Didi,

I'm sorry but I have to reject your idea for any automatized solution for premium 4Umaps in Locus. Honestly there are other OSM based map that are free or for example Locus LoMaps should offer the same features. More over you can purchase premium maps on their page and use Mobac to create own offline *.mbtiles maps. Locus supports *.mbtiles format.

Thank you for understanding

Hi Petr,

thanks a lot for your efforts. No problem to purchise the premium map. The one reason that I use the 4U map ist the MTB-scale on the trails wich I can see the difficults of a MTB-trail. (0-4) Simular the mtb- singletrailscala.

I've donwload the free maps without any problem.

For more details I can switch the map or I buy the premium map.

Thanks a lot for it!! I will recommend LOCUS to my customers as well. ( I have a bikeshop)
