Transparency of WMS layers
Declined
WMS layers would be much more useful if they could be made partially transparent, or the background color (usually white) could be made completely transparent.
When WMS layer support transparency, it`s already displayed transparent. Locus request transparent WMS map by default. For this, there will be need to define some color, some threshold and also it will take quite a lot of CPU to recompute all tiles on-the-fly. So I think it`s not best idea to implement ...

Yes, OK. I understand. Maybe a few years from now, when my phone will be faster than my current PC ;-)

fine :)
you also may check and vote on this topic https://getsatisfaction.com/locus/top... . It`s almost the same as yours, but applied globally on all maps, not just WMS.
for me it`s a nice idea (also not for WMS), but I`m just worried about too CPU intensive procedure. Anyway, I`ll leave second topic open and we`ll see. If there will be huge interest, I`ll try to do something with it. Maybe there will be some filtration mechanisms that allow to do this tasks more easily.
