I can see the Locus vector map is .map but it's not OziExplorer format. Is Mapc2Mapc able to convert the Locus .map file to an img file?

Dear Alan,

I'm not so familiar with BaseCamp, but I'm 99.9% sure that it isn't possible. Locus *.map is format of "mapsforge" library that ins't very likely supported by basecamp. Also mapc2mapc isn't able to convert this format.

However I can offer different workaround: Locus LoMaps maps are created mainly from OSM data. And there are several pages where you can download free *.img map that are generated from OSM data.

Please see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM_Map_On_Garmin/Download

Thank you

Petr
