WMS layers are not shown

Solved

I've just bought Locus Pro. Now I tried WMS layers with your NASA link first. During installation I get a message that the server does not work. So I tried OpenWeatherMap. In this case installations works fine. However, I can not see anything. Independent of the layers I switched on or the zoom level I don't see an overlay?

Did you set the opacity of the WMS layer greater then zero?

I'm using different layers from IN, an Italian institution, and all works fine.

Hi DK,

thank you for report. The link on NASA WMS server was obsolete. I've updated it on new service: http://neo.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/about/wms.php

Unfortunately there is another issue that I can not fix it - need to wait on main developer. He's on vacation.

Thank you for understanding

Hi guys,

this nasa server is really weird. I'm already fighting with it for a few hours. One main issue solved (problems with projection of coordinates). So now it works, but it works only when you select a single layer from long list of layers.

If you select more then one, like this: http://neowms.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/wms/wms?SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.3.0&REQUEST=GetMap&CRS=CRS%3A84&FORMAT=image%2Fpng&LAYERS=MOD14A1_M_FIRE%2CMOD14A1_E_FIRE&STYLES=rgb%2Crgb&TRANSPARENT=TRUE&BBOX=-67.500000%2C48.922499%2C-56.250000%2C55.776573&WIDTH=512&HEIGHT=312 , result is "invalid name of layer". Server seems to completely ignore comma that separate layers. This is anyway standard method how to get more map layers from WMS server at once and unfortunately I have no solution for this problem as it seems not to be a problem on Locus side.

Thanks for report!
