[RU] Проблема с соединением со спутниками

В последней версии программы индикатор соединения со спутниками постоянно моргает с зеленого на оранжевый. Соответственно ведение по маршруту не осуществляяется, вместо стрелочки просто точка. При установке более ранней версии 3.28 эта проблема исчезает. Телефон Xiaomi redmi 5 plus.

Good day,

since this older version, there quite a lot of changes in GPS system in the application, anyway we do not have any other similar report till now.

What phone, Android version and ROM are you using?

You may also give a try to change how the app handles GPS location with: menu > settings > GPS & sensors > Google Services assisted location.

What about "Auto-off" feature in settings > GPS & sensors > GPS auto-off? This function allows to periodically turn GPS off and on based on defined parameters.

Hello,

sorry for a delay. We tested it with my colleague who has also Xiaomi device and we found out that this is a serious bug in the latest MIUI update that affects all applications using GPS. The same problem appears in Endomondo and also Google Maps. It is visible on the icon in the system bar. There are many topics like this https://en.miui.com/thread-2908339-1-1.html , without any solution or Xiaomi explanation.

Only small help for now (till Xiaomi fix it) is to turn on "Google assisted location provider" in Locus Map > settings > GPS & sensors, which at least get rid of blinking directly in Locus Map app.
