please can you send me more information?

Your app version, the map you use...

Is it possible that you switch on "zoom lock"? It is usually on the function panel and could cause this problem.

I am using app version 3.55.1

The problem seems to affect all maps, online or offline. (I tend to use 4UMaps or USA Topo Maps (scanned)

I can't seem to find any "zoom lock" on the function panel. I will search again.

I am using a Pixel 3a with Android 11

The issue started just a few weeks ago. It is possible the phone had an update, but I am not aware of it. Another mapping app, "caltopo" still zooms in and out fine, but I have been using locus pro for several years with many hundreds of hikes and tracks and would prefer to keep it as my primary mapping app.

Yes, That was the solution. Thankyou

I had tried searching for "zoom lock" but never got any hits. I also went through every menu in the settings looking for it. I guess I have never used that lock and magnifier button before. I now have another feature to appreciate.
