Record tracks with pause

I used Viewranger before. When I paused the track recording and then continued the recording elsewhere, I got a straight dashed line regarding the part that was paused. in this way, the track including the paused part becomes a complete whole.
Is it possible to introduce this change.

we have no plans to implement something like this.
But if you think that is a "must-have" function, you can try to add it as an idea and collect some votes.
