Offline maps on SD card not accessible
In Progress
Dear Madam or Sir
My setup: Android 11 and Locus Map Classic 3.60.1
Unfortunately the App doesn't recognise may offline maps on the SD card anymore.
Card Manager => Offline: Nothing here yet
Using the + and External maps: Linking to maps in external directories is no longer supported
Does this mean, that all my maps need to be in the internal storage?
Please advise
Regards Guenter
Hello,
according to the new Android security rules (Android 11+), each app has its own private directory. So Locus needs all maps in the "Locus/maps" folder.
Default directory is "Android/data/menion.android.pro/files/Locus/maps" ... and you can use the "Android/media/.../Locus/maps" also.
