Planning route elevation profile

When planning a route, could the up and down elevation icons be made to lead directly to the elevation profile, rather than having to click the menu button then the elevation button. I didn't think you used to have to click twice to get the profile and those icons don't have any function other than showing height gain and loss
I like this idea
