Android Automotive support (for example next generation KTMs)
The number of cars using Android Automotive is growing fast, asides Volvo and Renault, company such Fiat also chose the Android Automotive Platform. Same as Android Mobile Apps can be acquired from Google Play store.
But not to Android Automotive mix with Android Auto, this is something different. While Android Auto is "mirroring" an Android device to the vehicles TFT, Android Automotive is a full operating system for digital vehicle devices, based on Android.
Due specific needs and requirements for apps in cars, Android apps are not automatically available for Android Automotive, even though sharing same operating system basis. Now KTM announched that they next generation bikes are equipped with Android Automotive Systems and TFT displays: https://www.ktm.com/en-si/tech-guide/tft.html
Including having a five-axis stick to control the TFT from the handle war. Obviously, this leads to the question of considering and providing a Locus Map version for Android Automotive?
