Multi-Coordinate System Display

I would like to propose a feature where clicking on any location on the map would display Location coordinates not only in the default coordinate system (e.g., WGS84) configured in settings but also when you click on that it will automatically show the equivalent coordinates in all other coordinate systems that are configured in the settings.

For example: When clicking a point on the map, instead of just seeing:

  • N 58.3776°, E 26.7290°

It would show:

  • WGS84: 58.3776° N, 26.7290° E
  • L-EST97: 6474884.123, 658742.456
  • UTM Zone 35N: 374558.789, 6472235.012
  • MGRS: 35VMF7455872235
    Why this would be useful:
  • Surveyors and construction projects often use HTRS96 in Croatia
  • Military and emergency services commonly use MGRS
  • GPS devices typically show WGS84
  • Many GIS applications and mapping projects use UTM
  • Practical Benefits:
  • Prevents conversion errors
  • Saves time when working with different organizations
  • Useful for documentation and reporting
  • Helps in training new personnel
  • Facilitates communication between different services and civilian users
