Map re-download needed

I've had vector maps of Italy and Greece for many years. The Greek map works perfectly, but the Italian map appears blank and asks me to reload it. Why? If I go to the store, I find it split into two parts (north and south), and I'm asked to pay for it again! The map is on my phone: italy.osm.db (416 MB) and italy.osm.map (1.10 GB). How do I fix this? Thanks.
