simplify process to add geotagged photo as a waypoint to a recorded track

this is the best I can determine... maybe there's a simpler way but this is currently super tedious

select track on map > waypoints > "+" > add new > add attachment > select photo > question "set as point icon": yes (nice) > location > select on map > zoom out > eventually find the photo already on map (very tedious) > zoom back in sufficiently for accurate location > tick > save

could the location/ top search bar options:(my location | my points | select on map | screen center) have a new option (at the start of the line) - photo location?

and/or (better), when the attachment is selected, the "set as point icon" question is replaced with a panel with 2 checkboxes: "set as point icon?", "set as location?"

PS. after I add the new waypoint > back > track details > "nothing here yet"? bug? it is not displayed in the chart either
