Align trackpoints to a line/curve

Dear Sir or Madam!

What about a new function to the TrackEditor? I tracked several workouts with my bike over 50-80km resulting in very much trackpoints. It would be more comfortable and a faster correction process if you could draw a line and then the trackpoints would be assigned to it. In this case it would be possible to correct 20-50 or more points at once.

In my thoughts the screen shades and then you have to set start and end point of the line. After this, you pick the line and bend it to a curve if necessary. The nearest distance of the points to the line should match.
