Enable gps when "Hold map center" option is used

I think it would be very handy if using "Hold map center" option (set in settings or by tapping a button) would enable GPS. Currently, when GPS is off, tapping "Hold map center" or setting it in settings doesn't switch GPS on - if I want to see my position centered I have to go to the GPS menu and manually switch it on. I think it is counter intuitive and it is unnecessary complication. Can it be changed so that GPS would be enabled automatically when "Hold map center" option is used?
