Estimated Time to Destination and recorded Tracks
Hello,
sorry for my bad english, i am from germany.
I have a feature-request:
Long time ago i used Pathaway on a palm-handheld to track my ridings and runnings. This software has two very exiting features which i am missing in locus pro.
1) When you follow an recorded track the destination-time and the time to Destination is calculated based on the timestand of the recorded track and not based on the aktual average speed. This leads to precise extimates.
Example: Way to work 10 km, needed time 1 hour due to waiting at railroad crossing for 30 minutes. (Average Speed 20km/h). When you use the "pathawaymodus" to calculate the ETD you will get the correct values after you cross the
railroad because the systems knows you dont have to wait. When using the average Speed-modus you will get wrong values all the way.
2) Competitionmode: Based on the timestamp of an existing track you can compete with yourself. On display you can show values such as 50 mtrs ahead, 200 mtrs behind you etc.
I hope you understand what I mean.
Greetings,
carsten
