Filter/search option for wms layers

Some WMS providers offer many layers, sometimes not in alphabetical order – like e.g. the Viennese Government: ~ 150 WMS layers. Finding a certain layer sometimes takes one or two minutes here.
A filter bar at the top of the list where the user can search the layers by typing the first letters could be helpful.
