Map Overlays improvements

1. Think about some button to quickly swap base layer with overlay layer - this will save lots of clicks compared to doing it manually.

2.When you are loading a map which is already used as overlay, you are getting error message "Map already used as Overlay" and you need to go and turn it off manually (lots of additional clicks and annoyment). So maybe you can implement some automatic mechanism to just turn it off automatically or ask what to do.

3. Possibility to change the base layer in "Map overlays" window would be also very convenient. It will save lots of click ( removing an overlay(see point 2.), going to maps menu, choosing a new map) and waiting.

4. Additional overlaid image`s transparency is very important when overlaying maps, because you can make one of the maps less obtrusive. All depends of the character of the maps. Without this option some of the base/overlay combinations can be unreadable. I think you it was tried to be implemented but it work really bad. Here is a real example:

Professional GIS program setting for overlaying images:

Locus settings for overlaying images:

Until now, everything works great. Locus is nicely overlaying two images.

But the TOPO layer is too intense, and its black lines are covering too much of ORTO (aerial photo layer). So in normal situation I will change its transparency to about 80% to show more details of the ORTO layer.

For the purposes of this post let`s slide translucency/transparency to 50% to see the differences more clearly:

Professional GIS program setting for overlaying images with 50% of transparency:

Locus settings for overlaying images with 50% of transparency:

As you can see, Locus is darkening the whole image, instead of making the overlay more transparent. I believe it is unintended behaviour and I will risk saying it is a bug.

5. Introduce a new option in Maps menu: Click on tools icon -> Context menu -> Load map as overlay

6. All above ideas will slightly make the overlays more complicated and they will need a bit more time to configure them again and again. So why not to introduce option to save the overlays configuration ( base map, layer map, opacity, lightness), to quickly load them later. If you are using some configuration constantly, why not to save it for future use?
