Request more functionality for export to .gpx

Hi Guys,

I do have a challenge that when I plan a long track while navigation is enabled a lot of points is generated automatically. When exporting to .gpx all these points get exported as waypoints and if I choose "export as route", then all of them are exported as via points too.

End result is that my Zumo Motorcycle gps does not take the generated .gpx file anymore as there is too many via points and even if it did, there would be hundreds of waypoints which are exact duplicates of via points and thus completely unnecessary for my purposes..

This is not really a critical issue as I can work around this by adding points while navigation mode is not enabled, but exporting still generates both waypoints and via points. Still, it would be nice to see some improvement on this area.

What I would propose is to have more selections on export function.

a) have separate selection whether to export only via points or waypoints or both

b) maybe have possibility for some kind of filtering to cut down number of exported points (via/way/both based on selection above). Ideally the filtering would be based on some automatical analysing of road intersections and distance of a point from next point (seems that navigation mode is already doing something like this as it is adding more points to intersections ?), but also a simple dummy filter based on distance would be a good improvement already, f.eg export point only for every x kilometers, where x is adjustable.
