Screen on/off by whistling

How about turning on (and off) the display by a short whistling? Works really well in Apemap. I have my phone mounted on the handle bar in a protective cover which prevents the proximity sensor from working; so I have to hit the hardware on/off everytime which is critical when riding off-road.
I like this idea
